Little Hooves™ began with a horse, but the design began with a dream. I wanted my farm to have a simple and welcoming appearance. Through observation and my own experience, I discovered the initial attraction people have to miniature horses is caused by "the cuteness factor," regardless of whether they see a champion show horse. People fall in love with miniature horses simply because they are adorable.
I set out to establish a brand for my miniature horses based on the cuteness factor, essentially trying to portray a living toy horse. All the concept work and design seen on this website is my own work, including illustration and most of the photography.
My graphic design experience includes almost everything, from creating silkscreen or embroidery designs to designing a complete product catalog. I am detail-oriented, deadline-driven and passionate about creating a design to fit each project's individual needs. For more information about my background, see my resume.
